Job summary

Potawatomi Defense Operations, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager in San Antonio, TX to oversee all phases of commercial construction projects under federal contracts. You will manage client, design team, subcontractors, and field operations to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget.

The role requires 5–10 years of PM experience on federal projects, a valid driver's license, ability to travel, and OSHA 10 training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Compare vendor/subcontractor bid-day quotes and proposals for contract buyouts.
• Develop and implement modifications to the contract as needed
• Communicate project administrative requirements with subcontractors and vendors during negotiations per project requirements.
• Establish contacts and create relationships with office and field staff of subcontractors/vendors.
• Discuss expectations of work quality. Create and/or assist in the schedule development with management, subcontractors, and clients
• Assist Project Administrator with project requirements needing submission (subcontractor/vendor documents required, tax exempts etc.)
• Conduct/attend turnover meetings from Estimator to project management team (inclusive of key site personnel)
• Request, review, and process submittals, RFIs, shop drawings through Procore or other means to Construction Manager for review.
