Job summary

Intelligence and National Security Alliance in Providence, RI seeks an experienced Project Manager for complex building construction projects, including Rhode Island Convention Center and Brown University Health. You will advise Owners from conception through closeout, focusing on budget, schedule, scope and quality, while leading a team of controls, schedulers, estimators, and SME experts.

Qualifications

• Resides in or around Providence, RI area.
• BS in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 yrs experience in Building Construction.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or AIA or PE in RI preferred OR able to obtain on board.
• Experience in public and private building project management.
• Valid license and willing to commute to projects across Providence, RI.
• Knowledge of Compass and/or Astro Project Management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise Owners on building projects from conception through closeout with focus on budget, schedule, scope and quality.
• Lead multiple project meetings and document minutes and follow up on actions.
• Manage a project team including controls, schedulers, estimators, clerk of the works and SMEs.
• Review design documents, conduct constructability reviews, and value engineering.
• Coordinate procurement efforts with designer, contractor, and third parties.
• Maintain master budgets, develop cash flows and advise on Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Provide technical evaluations and guidance on projects.
• Review and assess impact of change orders and delays on schedule and budget.
• Communicate progress with clients and assist in overall project strategy.
• Projects will include Rhode Island Convention Center and Brown University Health.
