Job summary

Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects in Hollywood, FL. The role covers planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and client relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will oversee preconstruction through closeout, coordinate with owners, consultants, and subcontractors, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strong client relationships and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of construction management experience.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Strong knowledge of project startup, mobilization, construction management, and project administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout activities.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial reporting.
• Develop, maintain, monitor, and execute project schedules and recovery plans.
• Manage owner contracts, subcontract agreements, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
• Lead owner, subcontractor, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.
