Job summary

Staffmark Group in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, supervise subs, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of PM experience, proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project, OSHA certification, and a bachelor's in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• Preferred fields: Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• OSHA Certification is required.
• Minimum 8 years of Construction Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules.
• Coordinate activities with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Lead construction meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, cost reports, and financial performance.
• Oversee safety compliance and project quality standards.
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, and subcontractor payment requests.
• Direct project superintendents and assistant project managers.
• Track punch list completion, project commissioning, and turnover documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.

• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and client relationship management skills.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to visit active construction sites and navigate various terrain and jobsite conditions.
• Capable of attending site meetings, inspections, and project walkthroughs.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments as required.
• Must comply with all safety policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
