We seek a skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee industrial projects from conception to completion for our expanding portfolio.

Position Summary:

The Senior Construction Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multiple industrial construction projects. This role demands a deep understanding of construction processes, strong leadership, and resource management skills. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Manage all phases of industrial construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  2. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary contact, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Team Management: Supervise and mentor project teams, including construction managers, superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  4. Budget & Cost Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and mitigate overruns or delays.
  5. Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee project schedules, coordinate resources, and optimize efficiency.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets specifications and standards, conducting site inspections and addressing issues.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, delays, and scope changes.
  8. Contract Administration: Manage contracts, change orders, and related documentation for compliance.
  9. Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure OSHA compliance.
  10. Project Closeout: Complete punch lists, inspections, and documentation to client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 10-15 years in construction project management, focusing on industrial properties.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of industrial construction, codes, safety, and contracts.
  4. Leadership: Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  5. Budget & Schedule Management: Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  6. Software Proficiency: Skilled in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend), scheduling tools, and MS Office.
  7. Certifications: PMP, LEED AP, or similar certifications are a plus.
  8. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective collaboration.
  9. Problem-Solving: Strong skills in addressing issues promptly to keep projects on track.
