The position of Senior Project Manager is an essential part of the General Construction Team and will be involved in the management of multiple projects and team to ensure projects are running efficiently while providing general project oversight to mitigate project constraints and ensure the assigned projects maintain schedule, quality, safety, and budget. This person will work closely with the General Superintendent, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Field Engineers to establish the direction of each project, and ensure a quality project is delivered to the customers’ satisfaction, within budget and on schedule as referenced in the executed contract documents. This person is also responsible for managing the project teams to ensure they are working in a cooperative and efficient manner which supports the project’s overall success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Maintaining Client Satisfaction on Assigned Projects
  • Responsible for Supervision of General Contracting Division Project Teams
  • Participates in Project Reviews with Preconstruction Team on Assigned Project
  • Participates in Handoff of Project from Preconstruction Team to Project Team
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Project Execution Plans
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of the Project Schedules
  • Responsible for Ensuring Site‑Specific Safety & Quality Requirements are Developed
  • Responsible for Verifying Timely Buyout of all Major Purchase Orders has been Completed within 30 days of Project Start
  • Responsible for Timely Review and Approval of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Schedule of Values for each Project
  • Responsible for Monitoring Project Schedule and Providing Course Corrections as needed to Maintain Schedules
  • Accountable for Monitoring and Reporting Project Budget
  • Accountable for Insuring Project Teams are Adhering to Contract Terms and Conditions
  • Verify Regular Project Photos and Daily Reports are being Completed in Procore
  • Responsible for Maintaining Open Communications with Owner and Subcontractors
  • Responsible for Verifying Projects are Addressing Change Management in a Timely Fashion
  • Ensure Timely Payments are Received from Customer
  • Responsible for Maintaining Cash Positive Position on All Projects
  • Responsible for insuring Project Close Out is Completed Timely
  • Review and Approve Work in Progress and Executive Summary Reports Monthly
  • Responsible to Manage Project Close Out Meetings
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of experience with at least 1‑2 major vertical industrial projects ($5‑10 million minimum) completed as Pre‑con Manager, PM or SPM
  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with construction project management software is a plus, but not required
  • Strong business ethics with regards to budgets, invoicing and payments
  • Reading contract documents and P&ID drawings
  • Working knowledge of project estimating, planning, scheduling and budgeting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that align with core values
  • 10+ Years of experience with knowledge of construction, design, and cost management
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction science & management or related field is preferred
