Job summary

Sterling Search Partners is assisting a client in recruiting a Project Manager for construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The role oversees schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, field operations, and client communication to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field and bring 5+ years of PM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management/project scheduling software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and timelines.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, scopes of work, and performance.
• Monitor project costs, change orders, commitments, and overall profitability.
• Review and approve invoices, pay applications, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
