Job summary

Kiewit Building Group in the Washington, DC area seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead performance across commercial construction projects and maintain direct client relations. You will oversee estimation and manage multiple project teams throughout preconstruction and construction.

The role requires 15+ years in vertical construction, a bachelor’s in engineering or related fields, and strong leadership and communication skills. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in the vertical construction market, preferably in the localized region.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Construction Management; Business: Finance, OR similar type experience.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prior experience as Project Manager, Design Manager, Director of Estimating, or Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership with strategy development and business initiatives.
• Oversees and manages multiple construction teams through preconstruction and construction.
• Senior PM responsibility for project performance: finances, schedule, execution, and client relations.
• Ensures staffing resources are sufficient and supports development, recruiting, and retention.
• Leads all aspects of safety culture and Nobody Gets Hurt.
