Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. Civil Engineer or related degree with 5-10 years of experience in construction.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Project organization and administration; responsible for engineering, accounting, cost control, quality assurance, and project closeout on assigned projects.
• Know plans, specifications, estimates, cost reports, and the contract for all assigned projects.
• Determine the overall construction schedule and preparation of the detailed CPM schedule.
• Supervise all subcontract work: procurement, coordination, performance, and final payments.
• Establish and maintain relations with Owner and Architect: approvals, change orders, extra work orders, requisitions and acceptance of work.
• Review and approve requisitions, purchase orders, and cost codes to control expenditures.
• Review subcontractor’s field supervisory personnel and forces for adequacy to meet schedule requirements and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Hold weekly meetings with subcontractors, Owner and Architect on all assigned jobs.
• Attend stakeholder appropriate meetings, i.e. project meetings, owner’s meetings, etc.
