Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest in Dallas is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, management and execution of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include developing PMP, budgets, schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet owner expectations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering/construction management, 5+ years PM experience in commercial construction, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Minimum of five years project management experience in commercial construction.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and contract language.
• Ability to read plans/blueprints and manage bids, change orders, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing estimates and budgets for projects.
• Leads the project team in developing the project management plan (PMP).
• Participates in value engineering and pre-construction activities.
• Negotiates subcontracts and coordinates permits and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares project schedules and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Manages procurement of materials and equipment within budget.
• Develops and monitors quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Monitors cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent.
• Executes change orders and manages cost and profit impact.
• Coordinates client pay requests and project cost reviews.
