Job summary

Scherrer Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to plan, direct, and oversee complex construction projects across multiple markets. You will serve as the main communication link among the internal team, owners, subcontractors, and partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires leading project teams, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with estimating trades and managing safety on site is valued for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects in various phases from bid to closeout.
• Develop and manage owner relationships and maintain and expand relationships with clients, architects, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Lead job progress meetings, subcontractor coordination, RFI, PCO and change order generation.
• Manage project schedule including building, updating, troubleshooting, and taking required actions.
• Co-manage jobsite safety with superintendent.
• Adhere to contracts, local ordinances, and industry standards through quality control.
• Track and report project profitability.
