Job summary

GFT is seeking a Superintendent to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. The role requires regular attendance in New York, NY, and involves assisting with design and construction meetings, preparing progress reports, and coordinating project schedules.

We require candidates to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture and 15+ years of related experience. The salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience.
• Must possess a driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and construction meetings.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Assist with RFIs and submittals.
• Review estimates, negotiate, and process change orders.
• Coordinate project and contract schedules.
• Maintain job record files.
• Participate in progress meetings.
• Assist in field inspections.
• Assist Project Manager with administrative support.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
