Job summary

Scroggs Construction is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and optimize construction projects from concept to completion. Based in Asheville, NC, you will oversee a production team, coordinate with clients, designers, and subcontractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top quality.

You will manage budgets, bids, change orders, and schedules, leveraging Buildertrend to generate reports and conduct regular reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction-related field
• 5-7 years of proven construction project management experience, on-site preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical docs
• Proficiency with project management software (Buildertrend, Procore) and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple construction projects from planning through close-out
• Oversee a production team and subcontractors, ensuring accountability
• Manage budgets, change orders, bids, and invoices to keep projects on track
• Develop schedules using critical-path methods and scheduling software
• Maintain client communications and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and safety regulations
