Hut 8 in Miami (Brickell HQ) seeks a Project Accountant, Principal to oversee the financial management of construction projects. You will track costs, manage fixed assets, budgets, and financial reports to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with project managers, utilize NetSuite and Excel for reporting, and prepare detailed analyses. This on-site role requires precise reconciliations and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and quality in work.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report project costs including capex and opex.
• Collaborate with project managers to address financial needs and discrepancies.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Create reports using NetSuite and Excel; develop pivot tables for project needs.
• Prepare detailed financial reports to support project requirements.
• Maintain stakeholder communications and provide updates on finances.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure data integrity and test/improve processes.
