Job summary

McKissack & McKissack is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Los Angeles, CA to lead complex construction programs across education, public works, and large commercial projects. The role emphasizes schedule adherence, cost control, and contract administration within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates bring 20–25 years of PM experience on large projects (> $50M), with degrees in architecture/engineering/construction management. CMAA CCM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 20 or 25 years of full-time project/construction management experience with large programs.
• Experience with projects >$50 million; includes education/public works or large commercial.
• Degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management; CMAA CCM preferred.
• Design-build, BIM, LEED or CHPS projects preferred.
• License as Architect (CA) or PE (CA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex construction issues and disputes.
• Develop, assign, and monitor performance relative to projects.
• Review project status against schedules and cost controls.
• Review bid specifications and assess impact on timelines.
• Coordinate program activities with districts and departments.
