Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee end-to-end installation of wildfire defense systems. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This high-impact role offers leadership opportunities as we scale, requiring coordination with inspectors, contractors, and local officials. Travel across California is expected, with a remote-friendly setup to support field work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, permitting, and fire safety regulations.
• Experience managing contractors, architects, and local inspectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with a customer-first approach.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
• Ability to work remotely and travel across California, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all system installations, ensuring on-time, in-scope, on-budget delivery.
• Develop efficient processes for supply chain, inventory, job costing, and installation.
• Oversee material procurement and tracking with timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with inspectors, building officials, and fire departments for compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners, contractors, and architects throughout installations.
• Provide technical support to customers during installation and maintenance.
• Recruit, train, and manage installation teammates and partners.
• Improve design, installation processes, and performance with engineers and product teams.
• Oversee site audits, permitting, and ongoing operations support.
