Job summary

Knife River Corporation is seeking a results-driven estimator/PM to lead detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and proposal development for diverse construction projects in North Dakota. You will visit sites, review plans, and coordinate with field leadership to align schedules, budgets, and resources for profitable execution.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field required, or work experience.
• Ability to hold and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, possible nights and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs, perform quantity takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and proposals.
• Visit project sites to determine scope of work and lead preconstruction meetings.
• Coordinate with project team to manage schedules, procurement, and change orders.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on projects.
