Job summary

GBA Team seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead multiple project teams across client engagements. You will oversee schedules, budgets, quality, and risk while mentoring staff and developing business opportunities. Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive results on complex construction programs.

In this role you will collaborate with superintendents, engineers, and architects, ensuring compliance with contract terms and safety standards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant construction leadership experience.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, financial reporting, and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior client contact, ensure alignment, resolve high-level concerns, foster collaboration.
• Manage multiple projects, meet cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives.
• Monitor financial performance including revenue forecasting, earnings reports, cost control, and cash flow.
• Oversee schedules and design-team coordination for scope, contracts, and commissioning.
• Track performance against schedules and take corrective action as needed.
• Supervise and develop project engineers, PMs, coordinators, and interns.
• Assess staffing needs and allocate resources with leadership.
• Conduct site visits to monitor safety, schedule, and quality while managing risks.
• Support business development, identify new clients and forecast budgets.
• Prepare proposals with estimating/marketing, solicit subcontractor pricing, and negotiate with owners.
• Review contracts, identify scope gaps, and ensure all parties understand requirements.
• Ensure records, closeout, and warranty processes meet standards.
