Job summary

Wolverine Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial construction projects from design through closeout. You will manage client relationships, budgets, schedules and subcontractor coordination while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a decade of project management experience in varied projects, with strong knowledge of preconstruction and design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Must have experience working on varied and complex projects.
• Must possess advanced knowledge of entitlement/design processes, contracts, subcontracts and preconstruction through turnover.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages client relationships and project teams from design through closeout.
• Manages complex construction processes including estimating, design development, schedule, budget, and closeout.
• Prequalifies trade partners and suppliers prior to awarding subcontracts.
• Reviews and approves project invoices and monitors financial health of the project; provides updates to the team.
• Ensures safety is a priority and aligns with company values and standards.
