Job summary

Berglund Construction seeks a Senior Project Manager - Construction to lead complex projects across commercial, healthcare, K-12, and higher education markets. You will drive safety, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong client relationships.

Reporting to the Vice President, you will coordinate with leadership, assistant project managers, superintendents, and field crews to deliver on time and within budget, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and contracts.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and teams.
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of commercial construction projects from award to completion.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, cost controls, and resource allocation.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Review plans, specs, and contracts for compliance.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Maintain project profitability and track change orders.
• Develop client relationships to drive repeat business.
