Job summary

Trueline Publishing, LLC seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up development projects from planning to turnover in the Monmouth Junction/South Brunswick area of NJ. You will oversee hotel developments typically valued at $12–$15 million and manage multiple active projects across New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience independently managing ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong background in commercial general contracting, construction management, or related field.
• Approximately 10–15 years of construction industry experience with project management responsibility.
• Experience managing mid-sized commercial projects, typically $7–25 million.
• Solid knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project execution.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain accountability for timelines and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up commercial construction projects from planning through turnover.
• Oversee hotel development projects valued at approximately $12–$15 million.
• Manage multiple active projects across New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and construction plans.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and resolve issues related to scope, scheduling, costs, and quality.
• Manage subcontractor performance, trade coordination, procurement, and deliverables.
• Track construction expenses and maintain accurate project reporting.
• Communicate updates, challenges, and recommendations with company leadership.
• Coordinate with Site Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and productive jobsites.
• Support contractor selection, planning, and execution.
• Help establish internal construction management procedures and reporting systems.
• Contribute to building a growing construction team as the portfolio expands.
