Job summary

RADERMcCARY is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and light industrial construction projects in Birmingham, AL. The candidate should have a strong background in large renovations or ground‑up builds and be adept at coordinating with owners, engineers, and field teams.

Responsibilities include safety plan development, subcontractor coordination, schedule management, cost tracking, change orders, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with field teams.
• Working knowledge of Procore, MS Office, Box, Bluebeam and PDF viewers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field management to generate site safety plans.
• Serve as main point of contact for Owner, Engineer, and Architect.
• Create staging, logistics, and phasing plans for projects.
• Set up bonding, change orders, and cost tracking measures.
• Oversee project startup, permits, licenses and mobilization.
• Facilitate subcontractor pre-mobilization meetings and coordinate scheduling.
