Responsibilities

Our internal leadership, the client, and the rest of the team counts on you to lead all field operations, ensuring the project remains on-track. Reporting to the Project Executive, this is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to effectively manage others, build relationships and deliver results.

As a Senior Superintendent your primary responsibilities include:

• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings, as well as all safety and progress meetings.
• Develop/maintain construction schedules using CPM schedule program.
• Ensure compliance with applicable code/safety regulations, and enforce safety policies.
• Monitor material flow to jobsites; paying particular attention to long lead materials.
• Control field office general conditions costs.
• Establish/maintain relationships with owners, inspection authorities, and other parties.
• Organize project records including: subcontracts, change orders, permits, and drawings.
• Direct, develop, and evaluate subordinate supervisors who manage other field staff

What You Bring to Us

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management/related field; or similar practice/training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Procore.
• PMP and/or LEED accreditation desired.
• 10+ years of experience supervising multi-million dollar construction projects.
• Well-versed in safety and government regulations (i.e., OSHA) as they relate to a jobsite.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction codes and ordnances.
• Familiarity with commercial, multi-family, and/or mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong understanding of site development, wood-frame, steel, and concrete construction.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to external clients/audiences.
• Proven track‑record of managing budgets and costs effectively.
• Demonstrated supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team(s).
• Additional Requirements: To perform the duties of this job, you will occasionally need to lift or move up to 50 pounds; you will be regularly exposed to adverse conditions (including, but not limited to bad weather, dust, and noise) and required to talk, hear, stand, and walk long distances; and you must be able to get around sites and buildings under construction, which includes climbing stairs and ladders.

Salary Range

$170,000 — $200,000 USD
