Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Senior Construction Services Specialist to provide field observation, inspection, and oversight on a major water infrastructure project near Carrington, ND. This full-time role emphasizes on-site leadership, documentation, and collaboration with Owners, Engineers, and Contractors.

Responsibilities include monitoring contractor work, documenting progress, and coordinating meetings. The position requires extensive travel, physical duties, and mentoring of AE2S staff to improve

Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive construction experience with leadership on large projects.
• Experience in mass grading, heavy civil and vertical construction.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts in complex builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction observation, inspection, and documentation.
• Monitor contractor activities for plan and quality compliance.
• Serve as field liaison among Owner, Engineer, and Contractor.
• Review progress, RFIs, pay apps, tests, and records.
• Mentor junior staff and support project-management efforts.
