• Familiarity with construction materials (doors, frames, hardware, windows) preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase doors, frames, hardware, windows, and related materials to meet production needs.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with production and sales to forecast material needs.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality.
• Review purchase orders and verify accuracy against specs, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Track and expedite orders and resolve delays with vendors.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities and risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing with project timelines.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records for compliance and reporting.
