Job Overview

As a WWRGD - Industrial Grocery Team Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing industrial development projects, including new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives from site selection through contract execution for fulfillment centers, industrial kitchens, and multi-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets, overseeing all aspects of project delivery including FF&E and construction.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, managing General Contractors and Vendor relationships.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate in design development to value engineer construction methods, reducing time and costs.
• Negotiate change orders and ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with developers and landlords regarding building envelope delivery.
• Manage AIA contract documentation processes.
• Build effective relationships and understand municipal and permit processes.
• Lead site meetings, produce minutes, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety and OSHA requirements to minimize risks.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, real estate development, architecture, or design.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Food Production Facility Design or Construction.
