Overview

Construction Manager - Water Treatment Construction- Regional Remit - Florida

OTJ Engineering are seeking a Construction Manager for a long standing general contracting partner in Florida. Our partner is a leading name in the construction of Water and Wastewater infrastructure and is a new entrant to the Florida market. They are looking for a Senior Construction Manager with experience of delivering major water treatment projects valued over US$200m. This role will cover Florida but will initially be based out of a Tampa HQ, reporting to the Project Executive.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water treatment construction projects with value typically over US$200m.
• Coordinate with the general contractor and project leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Manage field operations from a Tampa-based base, with regional responsibility in Florida.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years experience in Water or Waste Water Treatment and/or Pump Station construction.
• 10+ years of direct Construction Management / Superintendent experience within the water treatment construction sector for a main general contractor.
• A CV that predominantly reflects construction general contracting experience.
• Experience delivering a project valued over US$200m as a Senior Superintendent or Construction Manager.
• Experience with hard bid and alternative delivery methods is highly desirable.

Compensation

Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

On offer is a salary up to US$185k plus a realistic achievable bonus of around 20% of annual salary. A full range of benefits and a competitive 401(k) plan are offered alongside salary and bonus.

Location and travel

Florida; initial base at Tampa HQ; regional remit to cover Florida.
