Job summary

APSI Construction Management, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager to lead a manufacturing facility project in Atlanta.

You will coordinate on-site activities, participate in design-build reviews, and provide proactive cost and schedule reporting to the Client. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, with eight+ years of construction-management experience and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Minimum eight years of construction management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, or ProCore.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• On-site resource advising Client’s Project Management team.
• Attend construction meetings and review Design-Builder’s weekly reports to assess progress and flag deviations.
• Monitor actual costs and spending against the approved budget and identify variances.
• Recommend corrective actions to bring construction back to plan and budget.
• Support Client’s PM team with reporting potential cost and schedule impacts.
