Job summary

CSM Group is seeking a Construction Manager to provide leadership from conception through completion on industrial projects. You will coordinate site activities, manage subcontracts, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence to meet client expectations.

You will oversee preconstruction planning, bid processes, and field operations, while coordinating with project directors and plant teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in construction management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related construction degree.
• Five (5) years' experience in the construction industry, with at least two (2) years in Project Management.
• OSHA 30-Hour Training and/or STSC certification.
• Minimum Training on Utilizing Equipment (i.e., man lifts).
• Understands GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, MS Project, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the Phasing Plan, Schedule, and Bid Process (Pre-Bid, BRFI, Post Bids).
• Develops Site Logistics Plans in collaboration with Pre-Construction and Safety.
• Leads Constructability & A/E progress meetings and manages Submittal Process.
• Submits daily logs using Procore to track hours, equipment, materials, and site events.
• Coordinates subcontractor work hours, materials, equipment, and meetings; ensures paper flow and document control.
• Ensures compliance with project plans/specifications, client specs, design standards, and sanitary design.
• Enforces OSHA 1910/1926 regulations and contractor orientations; supports cost issue processing.
• Manages overall project schedule.
