Job summary

CookUnity is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to plan, direct, and deliver multiple capital construction projects from concept to commissioning. You will oversee site due diligence, permitting, design coordination, contractor procurement, construction management, turnover, and closeout across a growing portfolio of facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng, Architecture, Architectural Eng, or related technical field.
• 8+ years managing large-scale commercial, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, food production, logistics, or mission-critical construction projects.
• 5–7 years within commercial real estate and F&B construction
• Procore, Bluebeam Revu, MS Project, CAD, AutoCad, Revit proficiency
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across locations and jurisdictions
• Strong track record delivering projects with large budgets
• Extensive experience with permitting, code compliance, inspections, and occupancy approvals
• Knowledge of contractor procurement, bid leveling, contract negotiations, and change order management
• Advanced knowledge across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and specialty systems
• Familiarity with design-build, CM-at-risk, and IPD models
• Experience leading facility commissioning and operational readiness

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent construction projects across markets, from expansion to ground-up developments.
• Own project delivery from site assessment through commissioning and handoff.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution plans.
• Drive aggressive timelines while maintaining safety, quality, and operational requirements.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation and recovery plans to meet milestones.
