Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to support planning, design, and execution of a MILCON/FSRM project at Joint Base Andrews. You will provide technical oversight, design review, and construction management in collaboration with AFCEC and installation staff.

The role requires DoD project management experience, coordination across multidisciplinary teams, and strict adherence to UFC/UFGS standards. CNDS emphasizes security clearances and base access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical), Construction Management, Project Management or Registered Architect is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 with Air Force or DoD performing facility and infrastructure military construction project management execution.
• Experience supporting design review and construction oversight for projects on DoD installations.
• Ability to review architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Familiarity with DoD UFC and federal design standards.
• Experience coordinating with architectural, engineering, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive full-spectrum installation engineering services.
• Perform design and construction project reviews and advisory support for AFCEC at JBA.
• Prepare statements of work, cost estimates, submittals, and RFIs.
• Participate in design reviews, meetings, and site inspections.
• Provide constructability reviews and cost/schedule considerations during design development.
• Coordinate comments between government stakeholders, design consultants, and installation personnel.
• Support design charrettes and project closeout activities.
