Job summary

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Federal Solutions team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role supports contract modification processes, prepares scopes of work for RFPs, reviews government estimates, and negotiates with contractors.

You will manage review and analysis of contractor plans, schedules, safety, and quality control programs, and provide recommendation to the COR. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years field construction experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent construction-related work experience.
10+ years of field construction experience required.
Experience on large civil/structural/industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Participates in all phases of the contract modification process.
Assists in preparation of scopes of work for RFPs
Assists in preparation of government estimates
Reviews contractors' proposals
Participates in or conducts negotiations
Assists in preparation of contract modification documentation.
Manages the review and analysis of contractor plans and technical submittals, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications and shop drawings.
Provides approval/disapproval recommendation to COR.
