Job summary

Jacobs in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead onsite execution of capital improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. Bring 10+ years of experience in facility capital projects, preferably in manufacturing, and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration with related experience.
• 10+ years of experience on facility capital improvement projects, especially in manufacturing/assembly facilities.
• Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, project delivery, and manufacturing facility capital projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

We’re looking for a driven and client-focused Senior Construction Manager to support a major aerospace client on high-profile capital construction programs in the greater Wichita, Kansas area.

In this role, you’ll provide onsite leadership for multiple mid-to-large-scale facility projects within an active manufacturing environment. Working closely with client stakeholders, contractors, and project teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with client objectives.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration with related experience.
• 10+ years of experience on facility capital improvement projects, particularly within manufacturing and assembly facilities.
• Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, project delivery systems, and manufacturing facility capital projects.
• Skilled in Microsoft business applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP),
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification,
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

The base salary range for this position is $124,500.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
