PrimeSpace Capital is hiring a Senior Construction Manager to lead the execution of self-storage development projects across the United States. You will oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, partnering with leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and development teams to deliver on schedule and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management, project management, or field leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple active commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project controls.
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, permitting, inspections, and change management processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites.

PrimeSpace Capital is hiring a Senior Construction Manager to lead the execution of self-storage development projects across the United States.

This is not a desk PM role. You'll oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through closeout, partnering directly with company leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and development teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and on budget.

With 1.5M+ square feet delivered and a rapidly expanding pipeline, we're scaling our in-house construction team. We're looking for a leader who thrives in fast paced environments and enjoys solving complex field challenges.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead Construction Operations

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from mobilization through closeout
• Drive schedule performance, budget adherence, quality control, and safety standards
• Identify project risks early and implement solutions before they become delays
• Develop recovery plans for projects that fall behind schedule

Manage Field Teams

• Support and hold superintendents accountable for project execution
• Ensure daily reporting, documentation, scheduling, and compliance requirements are maintained
• Monitor productivity, quality, and project milestones across all active sites

Schedule & Coordination Management

• Develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing plans
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and inspectors
• Ensure long-lead materials are procured and delivered on time
• Lead recurring project review, scheduling, and coordination meetings

Change Management & Documentation

• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field-directed changes
• Ensure scope modifications are properly documented and communicated
• Evaluate schedule and budget impacts of project changes
• Conduct regular site visits across active projects
• Deliver clear progress updates to leadership
• Track project performance metrics and key milestones
• Drive consistency and best practices across all projects

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of construction management, project management, or field leadership experience
• Experience managing multiple active commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project controls
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, permitting, inspections, and change management processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel regularly to project sites

Preferred

• Ground-up commercial, industrial, self-storage, mixed-use, or multifamily experience
• Experience working for a general contractor or owner/developer
• Proficiency with modern construction management software and scheduling platforms
