Job summary

Montgomery College, Rockville Campus, is seeking a full-time Construction Management faculty member to start January 2027. The role includes classroom instruction, curriculum development, advising, and committee work, with delivery across face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats at multiple campuses and online.

Required: Bachelor’s in a construction-related discipline and 10+ years in construction management, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related discipline required.
• Minimum of ten years of industry experience in construction management, including cost estimates.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, and Primavera P6.
• Ability to use an LMS and web-based instructional technology to facilitate learning.
• Demonstrated experience teaching using various delivery methods and online resources.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple courses within the Construction Management curriculum (e.g., CMGT100, CMGT110, CMGT135).
• Maintain office hours and adhere to curriculum outcomes.
• Develop syllabi, select textbooks, and submit course materials as required.
• Provide student advising and participate in program events and committee work.
• Utilize Blackboard and other instructional technologies to enhance learning.
