Job summary

Montgomery College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for the Rockville Campus to teach construction and skilled trades. You will conduct hands-on labs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance, and engage students across day, evening, and weekend offerings.

The role requires professional licensure or equivalent experience in construction trades, and a commitment to inclusive excellence and student success.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure/certification or equivalent experience in construction trades (Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, General Remodeling) or a combination of education/training/credentials and experience.
• Willingness to teach in non-traditional settings (off-campus, weekends, evenings) and highly engage diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses related to construction and the building trades.
• Lead hands-on lab activities in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance.
