Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Senior Superintendent to join our New Construction team. This position oversees general construction operations, including scheduling, manpower forecasting, subcontractor management, and leading project teams.

Established in 1884, Donohoe is the Washington, DC region’s oldest full-service real estate company with a broad portfolio and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in an accredited construction curriculum or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of superintendent or construction-related experience
• Experience leading multi-faceted projects
• LEED accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of all job site operations
• Supervise field staff
• Maintain relationships with Owners, Design Consultants, and PMs
• Coordinate with inspectors and utility representatives for compliance
• Enforce safety and quality control programs
• Develop and update the master project schedule
• Prepare and maintain short-term schedules
• Lead weekly foreman's meetings
• Prepare daily reports with manpower and activities
