Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of survey experience in construction.
• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of leveling, traversing, topo surveys, mapping, and determining volumes.
• Ability to work within very precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Professionally represent the Company for both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain permanent control for line and grade on projects.
• Validate accurate dimensions by reviewing drawings prior to execution.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings prior to execution.
• Provide survey calculations and field data to the project survey team.
• Perform as-built surveys of completed work.
• Maintain surveying logs (paper and digital) for records.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
• Complete layout of any size project.
