You will handle complex matters including construction defects, contract disputes, and related litigation. You will draft pleadings, take and defend depositions, and develop case strategy while coordinating with clients, experts, and internal teams to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• 3+ years of construction litigation experience
• Strong legal writing, deposition, and advocacy skills
• Experience managing cases independently
• Familiarity with Texas state court procedures

Responsibilities

• Manage construction litigation cases from pre-suit through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Develop and execute case strategy
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and corporate representatives
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Analyze contracts, project documents, and insurance materials
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams
• Oversee paralegals and support staff
• Utilize case management systems and legal technology
