Gorman 56 Personnel Consultants, Inc. is assisting with the search for a Construction Account Executive/Consultant in Melville, NY. This hybrid role focuses on managing a book of larger middle-market construction clients for a full-service commercial insurance and surety broker.

You will market renewals and new business, deliver professional client services, and act as a consultant to multiple clients with knowledge of construction risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with large commercial risks.
• Knowledge of construction markets and products.
• Proven track record of customer retention and development of new business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active broker license(s) required.
• Familiarity with AMS 360 preferred.
• Experience with carrier websites, rating, claims, and underwriting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a book of construction business.
• Market new and renewal business.
• Consult for Large Clients.
• Oversee and provide excellent and professional client services.
• Prepare and deliver renewal and new business presentations.
• Act as a consultant to several clients.
