Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists the Chief Inspector on complex projects by completing inspection activities to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Performs and/or directs frequent field testing of construction materials and analyzes test results to verify material quality.
• Performs construction inspections and verifies dimensions and tolerances of roadway features to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Monitors contractor and traffic control safety practices to ensure project safety and compliance with standards.
• Measures, documents and enters pay items into MnDOT systems and prepares reports and documentation.
