UNICO Engineering is seeking a seasoned Construction Inspector in California with 5+ years of experience to inspect roadways, bridges, culverts, curb and utilities in line with Caltrans standards. You will verify plans, conduct daily inspections, and maintain meticulous project records.

The role requires strong communication, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on active infrastructure projects. A competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, structures and utility projects.
• 5+ years’ experience in a construction inspector capacity.
• High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily inspections and complete documentation including daily reports and project photographs.
• Coordinate with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, and testers.
• Assist Resident Engineers and provide input on project schedule, change orders, and communications with stakeholders.
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Monitor construction for compliance with project documents and quality control.
• Measure, document quantities of installed materials per policies.
• Inspect road and bridge construction per Caltrans standards.
• Communicate with project team and provide recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
