Job summary

STV’s growing Transportation group is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector in Newark, NJ, to oversee construction projects worth $25M–$1B, including highways and bridges. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of NICET certified inspection experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction inspection experience with NICET 2.
• 8+ years of construction inspection experience with NICET 3 or 4 or a PE.
• Experience on roadway/highway, bridge, drainage, utility or other municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project engineers and other stakeholders.
• Provide on-site supervision and oversight of construction activities.

Skills
