Job summary
STV’s Transportation group in Lawrenceville or Newark, NJ is seeking Senior Construction Inspectors for long-term bridge, highway and rail reconstruction projects. The role requires inspection experience with asphalt, concrete, rail and steel, and relevant NICET or PE credentials.
Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Structural or Construction Management degree and have 4+ years of construction inspection experience; familiarity with DRPA, NJ Transit, NJ Turnpike, NJDOT or PANYNJ is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or Construction Management; or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of construction inspection experience; NICET Level 3 or 4 or a PE is preferred.
- Experience on roadway/highway, bridge, drainage, utility or municipal projects.
- Familiar with DRPA, NJ Transit, NJ Turnpike, NJDOT and/or PANYNJ projects.
- Certifications in NJSAT Asphalt and/or ACI Concrete are a plus.
