Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector 4 to oversee and perform inspections on road and bridge projects. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, manage subordinate inspectors, and document daily activities and testing results.

The role requires strong reading of plans, math proficiency, and effective communication. Availability for day and night work and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to read, write and communicate fluently.
• Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform construction inspections for road and bridge projects.
• Inspect concrete, earthwork, and asphalt pavements and document findings.
• Record and report daily forms per project requirements.
• Supervise subordinate inspectors and assist project management as needed.
• Review reports and testing procedures for client policy compliance.
• Support Project Administrator and communicate with clients, contractors, and staff.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
