Job summary

Qualifications

• Understand construction plans, specs, and procedures.
• Demonstrate math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Read, write, and communicate fluently.
• Work well in a team and complete reports by hand and computer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform construction inspections for road, bridge, concrete, earthwork and asphalt projects.
• Supervise subordinate inspectors and assist project management; evaluate staff performance.
• Review reports, testing procedures, and documentation for compliance.
• Submit accurate time sheets, mileage, and expense reports weekly.
• Ensure safety, document issues, and follow OSHA standards and client procedures.
