We are seeking a professional CEI Senior Inspector to join our highway team. In this role, you will collaborate with technical experts to develop new techniques and standards, mentor early-career professionals, and assist resident engineers and project administrators in inspection work aligned with project and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect materials according to client scope (plans, specifications, special provisions). Transport samples to testing facilities.
• Maintain detailed records of daily operations and significant events. Perform additional duties as needed.
• Prepare daily inspection reports.
• Monitor and inspect Work Zone Traffic Control per client requirements.
• Inspect contractor’s quality control procedures.
• Conduct material testing, ensuring procedures conform with approved Quality Control Plans.
• Review testing procedures and results for conformance; measure quantities of materials placed.
• Perform sampling and in-place testing of soil, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt pavement as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of FDOT or Municipality CEI Inspection Services experience.
• CTQP Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, including MOT Advanced.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• CTQP Certifications: Concrete Field Technician Level I, Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges), Pile Driving Inspection.
• Experience with inspection of drilled shafts, sign structures, lighting, and traffic signal foundations.
• Additional certifications: FDOT Advanced MOT, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control.
