Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Roseville area. The role involves reporting to construction sites to observe and document contractor work, ensuring conformance to contract requirements and maintaining project files.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, an Associate degree or higher, and proficiency with MS Office; NICET IV certification is preferred. We offer a hybrid work environment and a strong benefits package.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor’s work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Monitor Quality Control Testing

• Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders

Education | Experience:

What You Will Bring To Our Firm

• 10+ years of experience
• Associates Degree or 2+ years of continued higher education preferred
• Inspection Team Leader (as directed).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• OSHA Safety Training
• Good communication skills
• Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position

• Preferred Registered Professional Engineer
• NICET IV Certification Preferred
• ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
