Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Federal PMCM team on U.S. Army contracts at Fort Polk and other Louisiana sites.

You will conduct inspections across electrical, mechanical/HVAC, structural and site civil disciplines, read drawings, identify discrepancies, and document construction progress. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 8 years of related inspection experience), at least 5 years in construction inspection, proficiency with MS Office,

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent (8 years of related inspection may substitute).
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school or Associates degree.
  • Relevant Industry Certifications.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Experience with Department of War facilities and construction contracts.
Required Qualifications
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma)
  • A minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
