$37.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation/inspection, material sampling/testing, verify compliance with plans/specifications.
• Prepare pay estimates and project documentation for various projects.
• Assist with surveying, proposals, budgets, schedules, and other technical activities.
• Travel outside the Twin Cities area as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of municipal, heavy civil roadway, and bridge construction inspection experience.
• Technical skills, good communication, organizational skills.
• Material testing experience and current MnDOT certifications; include certification card when applying.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Two-year technical degree or related four-year degree; higher education enhances opportunities.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
